This 12,000-square foot residence was designed for privacy and entertaining guests. The residence as designed rests on an elevated promontory position within the gated community and features an 8 foot tall hedge for privacy. The main floor features extensive terraces and a pool area that is ideal for entertaining. The motor court is intentionally designed to be gradually revealed as you drive by the residence, and offers privacy for both guests and resident vehicles

The open floor plan of the residence gave us an opportunity to scale the rooms to feel large yet cozy. Note how the wood ceilings coordinate with the color mocha fireplace marble. The hallway to the left of the living room presents a view from the left to the right of the house, an approximate90’ wide view. The thicker walls to the left were intentional to delineate the living room from the expansive hallway. Wood casing helps to transition the two areas, as well as to integrate casual hidden storage areas along the first floor.
