“For unto whom much is given, of him much will be required.”

When you look upon the crest of your life, you see many valleys and peaks, of which you consider and understand the blessings in your life. To one, it may be a great family. To another it may be good health. From friends, to financial prosperity, to intelligence, to compassion, everyone receives a measure of blessing. A lot of times, it takes a few glances back at our lives to realize just how fortunate we all are. And with those blessings come great responsibility. To those who love you. To those you love. To your neighbors and friends. To your community.

Being in business is no different. When God's given you the tools and resources to have growing, successful companies, He expects a great deal in return. That means giving back and sewing into your community. It means doing the right thing, even (or more correctly described: “especially”) when no one is looking.

We have the honor of giving back 10%+ of our entire yearly earnings from our companies. When you do business with us, you're helping to feed the homeless, you're helping to clothe the poor. You're helping pregnant, unwed teenagers receive counseling and support. Multitudes of support services are touched in part by your business.

We'd love to tell you that we're on the ground floor of these social programs and services, but we're not. We do what we do best; build Period homes. And like a great manager, we “hire”, or enlist the services of Churches and organizations that know how to wisely distribute funds that have the greatest impact on our community and society as a whole.

One of the great feelings we have is when we quietly write checks each month, donating our financial resources and time in an anonymous fashion. You won't see our names on plaques. You won't hear us talking about it unless asked first. Keep in mind that there is no wrong way to give. We think it's really neat for someone else to get the glory for it.
